A BP filling station in Winchester had a surprise visit from Greenpeace activists.
The pressure group is upset about the firm’s global searches for oil and argues that it could cause environmental harm.
Their concerns include the company’s plan to extract crude from tar sands in Canada.
Activists put together a poster made from petals in the same style as the company's logo to underline their point.
The group is also raising concerns about the handling of the Deepwater Horizon crisis and the amount of crude that has leaked into the Gulf of Mexico.
As a result, four Greenpeace members brought their protest to the filling station in St Cross Road.
Dave Hubble, from the group’s Winchester branch, said they also gave a protest letter to staff at the outlet, which they asked to be sent to BP’s head office in London.
The action was part of a national campaign by Greenpeace groups earlier this month (July).
