Masonic boost for children's hospice

A CHEQUE for £20,000 is going to the children’s charity, Lifelites, courtesy of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Freemasons.

The cash will be used for a project the charity is funding at Naomi House Children’s Hospice at Sutton Scotney.

The scheme provides special technology so that the youngsters can use computers with special adaptations, such as touch-screens.

Provincial Grand Master Brian Bellinger said: “We have been delighted to give further support through the initiative of Lifelites to ensure the continued provision of computer equipment and other fun technologies for the children at the hospice.

He added: “As always, this donation is from Freemasons' own funds and not from any public appeal.”
