Winchester teenager takes seat in UK Youth Parliament

A WINCHESTER schoolgirl is taking a seat on the UK Youth Parliament.

Felicity Stonehill, 15, The Westgate School, Winchester will represent Eastleigh and Winchester.

Young people from across Hampshire’s schools, colleges and youth centres cast their vote in the November elections.

Each new Member of the Youth Parliament will spend the year working with representatives from Hampshire Youth Council to consult young people on issues that affect them.

New Forest and Test Valley South will be represented by Abbey Couch, 14, of The Romsey School.

For Fareham and Gosport it is Alex Maynard, 16, Bay House School VI Form College in Gosport.
