Driver hurt after car crashes into tree at Wickham

AN elderly driver was injured after a car crashed into a tree on the edge of Wickham.

An ambulance took the patient to hospital in Portsmouth after the collision by the Shell garage on Fareham Road at about 2pm yesterday. (Monday,MAR8) An ambulance service spokeswoman said the injuries were not thought to be serious.
