THE Christmas show at Shawford Parish Hall this year will be a special version of Cinderella called Ashputtel.
So-called because the heroine has to sleep in the ashes in the scullery, the play has been adapted by David Haworth and will be directed by Kirstie Davis.
The show starts at 7.30pm on Friday, December 18, and tickets cost £6 while under-12s and over-65s pay £4. Proceeds will go towards the Hello Martha charity.
