VOLUNTEERS are being sought to help maintain Sparrowgrove and Oakwood Copses.
The woodland lies between Otterbourne, Compton and Shawford, and villagers clubbed together to buy the land to preserve it for future generations.
Organisers are hoping to maintain paths and trim back some trees over the winter months.
Anyone who wants to help – especially those who can bring some tools – are being invited to a clear up on Sunday, January 10.
