NAOMI House is looking for festive fundraisers to get into the Christmas spirit when they take on the Santa Fun Run at Winchester Rugby Club.
The run on Sunday December 6 aims to raise money for the charity.
The run, which starts at 10.30am, will be the first of its kind for Naomi House when energetic fundraisers will be sponsored to don their Santa suits and run, jog or walk the 5km route.
With over 100 Santa-suit-wearing fun runners expected to attend, Naomi House hope it will be the first of many similar runs across the region in the future.
Katrina McDuff, events co-ordinator, said: “Our Santa Run is an excellent chance for families and friends to get into the Christmas spirit and give Naomi House some festive cheer.”
Entry is £15 for adults and £10 for under 14s, with a minimum age of 12 years old, and fun runners are encouraged to raise as much money in sponsorship as they can.
Each runner will receive a Santa suit to run in on the day, refreshments and a medal as they jingle all the way across the finish line. Spectators and younger children are welcome to join in the festive fun and take part in the other seasonal activities planned at the event.
To register, contact Ms McDuff on 01962 843513. Closing date for entries is November 30. Minimum age is 12. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
