HELLO, good afternoon and welcome to Winchester.
That was the message legendary broadcaster Sir David Frost had for Uinversity of Winchester students celebrating their graduation day today.
Sir David, who lives near Romsey, was honoured at the event in recognition of his international distinction as a journalist and television presenter.
He is the only person to have interviewed all seven Prime Ministers serving between 1964 and 2009, and the seven US presidents between 1969 and 2008.
Grumpy comedian Jack Dee also had something to smile about after he too was honoured in recognition of his outstanding contribution to comedy, drama and the performing arts.
The funnyman, a former pupil at Peter Symonds College was joined by his former English teacher Sarah Hawkins and his family at the ceremony.
More than 1,200 graduates will gather at Winchester University today, tomorrow and Friday to celebrate their degree successes.
