AN OTTERBOURNE man is celebrating after winning ‘Buyer of the Year’ at the Retail Week Rising Star Awards 2009.
Campbell Ettinger, Showering Buyer at B&Q, beat off competition from Co-operative Group and Waitrose at the ceremony in London on September 10.
The awards, organised by Retail Week magazine, recognise top young professionals who demonstrate outstanding talent in their area of expertise. The judges were impressed with Campbell’s initiative, commercial awareness and the ability to recognise and deliver benefits to the business.
