HAMPSHIRE Police are warning about potential disruption to traffic during the annual Wickham Laboratories animal rights protest due to be held on Saturday, September 12, between 12pm and 5pm.

Sergeant Kevan Sitch, of the Operations Department, said: "The annual animal rights protest will take place in Wickham on Saturday. As such, it is likely that there will be considerable congestion on the roads and potential delays in the surrounding area. Hampshire Constabulary would advise motorists to avoid the area unless absolutely necessary, to seek alternative routes and allow plenty of time for your journey."
