CONCERNS are being raised in Twyford that more flights heading to Southampton Airport might be routed over the village.
The site, operated by BAA, has launched a three-month consultation for residents to give their opinions.
Among the ideas to reduce aircraft noise is for flights to line up with the runway further away from the airport.
Reducing the amount of turns and altitude changes could reduce noise, but could also lead to more pilots flying down the Itchen valley.
A link to the airport’s survey is available on the Twyford Parish Council website, www.twyfordpc.hants.gov.uk.
