A CYCLIST suffered serious injuries after colliding with a car south of Winchester.
The 25-year-old man from Eastleigh is currently receiving treatment for his injuries – not thought to be to his head – at Southampton General Hospital.
The 86-year-old driver of the red Ford Orion was uninjured in the incident, which happened in Compton around 11.30am last Sunday (April 26).
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident at the junction of Otterbourne Road and Compton Street to contact its roads policing unit on 0845 045 45 45, quoting Operation Formidable.
