A PAIR of intrepid sisters are appealing to hotel and bed and breakfast owners in Winchester to help them on their charity quest.

Louise and Liz Gardiner are taking part on a charity challenge and cycling from Ramsbottom in Lancashire to Dorset in a bid to raise money for The Motor Neurone Disease Association.

From September 14 to 19 they will cycle 264 miles to raise money for the charity, which has helped their stepfather, Jack, who has the disease.

The sisters will pass through Winchester on Wednesday, September 17, but need a place to stay for the night before heading off on the final leg of their tour.

As they are determined to raise as much money for the charity as possible, they do not want to use their fundraising money to pay for accommodation and are hoping to find a generous hotel or bed and breakfast to put them up for the night.

To offer your support telephone Louise on 07835 799571 or e-mail: lvgardiner@gmail.com.
