The Worthies Sports and Social Club will be holding a craft makers market on Sunday, May 19 at the clubhouse in Lovedon Lane, Kings Worthy. The event will be open from 10.30am to 2.30pm, with entry and parking free. Non-members are also welcome.

The Worthies branch of the Royal British Legion will stage an evening of commemoration to mark the 80th anniversary of D-Day on Tuesday, June 4 starting at 7pm. The evening will feature a World War two led Q&A session, re-enactment players in full period uniform demonstrating equipment and weapons, and a D-Day quiz. The club will also be holding a jazz jam at the club on Monday, May 20. The club will also be hosting its next bingo session on Sunday, May 12.

Flowerdown Care Home in Littleton is looking for community volunteers who would like to come and befriend residents at the home for a cup of tea and a chat, which can be done either inside or outside. NurtureYou Yoga is holding a number of free chair-based yoga classes at Crawley Village Hall, based at Peaches Hill Lane, which also has free parking on site. Attendees will be able to take part in the yoga sessions, socialise and enjoy coffee and cake afterwards.

A 10k sponsored walk will be taking place on Sunday, May 2 to raise funds for Winchester Hospice, organised by Winchester Rotary. The departure time is 10.30am and will start at King Charles Public House and will end at Lovedon Lane in Kings Worthy. A shorter 5k route is also available and will stop at The Plough in Itchen Abbas.

The installation of the play area on Fraser Road is now complete, but due to a delay a pre-opening safety instruction has had to be delayed. This is scheduled to happen on Tuesday, May 14 after which the play park will be open.

Worthys Youth Football Club will be holding a celebration day on Saturday, June 8 between 12pm and 4pm at Eversley Park in Kings Worthy. The day promises to be a day of family fun with lots of stalls, games, prizes and much more planned throughout the day, as the club celebrates the end of a fantastic season. Show committee members of the Littleton and Harestock Show are looking to hear from local groups, charities and initiatives who would like to be one of the beneficiaries from the event in 2024. Committee members have said they would like to hear from a wide range of people in Littleton and Harestock who support the local community. The headteacher at Itchen Abbas County Primary School has thanked Itchen Abbas Parents, and in particular Jo Milner for organising and collecting the pitch fees from the car boot sale held on Sunday, May 5. The car boot sale raised £518 which will go towards lots of projects, including a new climbing frame for the children at the school.
