Centre stage productions youth theatre presents Tony award-winning musical Green Day’s American Idiot.
This show by Billie Joe Armstrong and Michael Mayer, follows the Johnny, Tunny and Will finding meaning in a post 9/11 world after their flee the constraints of their hometown.
The play is low in dialogue instead relying on lyrics from Green Day’s album American Idiot to carry the story line.
The story features passionate love interests, familial responsibilities and joining of the armed forces. Watch their friendships dissipate as their lives take different paths in the confusing, terror struck world.
The play will be running from Wednesday April 24 to Saturday April 27 on the main stage. All performances are at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £15.
