PHOTOGENIC children and proud parents gathered for the presentation of the Hampshire Chronicle's Little Gems competition.
Hundreds of youngsters stepped before the camera to find who was top of the tots.
The overall winner was Suzie Mills' son, Michael, from Winchester, who also scooped the baby category.
Top of the boys was Anne-Marie Lee-Cann's son, Euan, from Hedge End, while Kerrie Willis' daughter, Olivia, from Romsey, won the girls category.
Nancy's Girling's children Ira and Xavier from Eastleigh won the siblings and over-fives category.
The winners each received a portrait at the ceremony held at Asda in Chandler's Ford.
Lorraine Barnett, head of newspaper sales at Newsquest Hampshire, was present at the awards.
Tim Treweeks, brand manager at Breeze Volkswagen in Shirley, which sponsored the contest, said: "Congratulations to the winners and thank you to all of those who took part in this year's popular Little Gems competition.
"Our support of community campaigns is an important element in developing and maintaining a high profile throughout the city, not just as a motor dealership, but as a local business that is interested in supporting community schemes which are integral to the enjoyment for local people.
"Well done once again to all those who took part."
Each of the winners received £50 of Asda vouchers, a bouquet of flowers, and a framed portrait from BCR Photographic Ltd.
