A CITY centre model shop has reopened.

Warhammer Winchester, on Jewry Street, was closed for some of this week due to a staffing issue.

However, the shop has reopened today, Friday, March 15.

Interim manager Jacob Reading said: "So the shop was closed due to the regular manager being on holiday.

"We normally work on a 'relief work' system, where we move around staff to where is needed. Unfortunately, the person who was due to cover this week had to pull out at the last minute.

"I've come in to make sure the shop is open today, but we couldn't write on the sign in the window the full extent of what was going on!

"But we are open today for everyone's hobby needs."

As previously reported, the shop was closed on Wednesday, March 13 and Thursday, March 14, with a sign in the window saying it was "closed until further notice".

Alongside model kits, Warhammer Winchester sells paints, hobby supplies and books.
