A WOMAN had more than £1,000 stolen as she was paying it into a building society in Sydenham.
The 34-year-old had gone into the Abbey National, in Sydenham Road, and was filling out deposit forms when a man snatched the cash and ran out.
He headed towards Bell Green, dropping cash as he went with the woman chasing after him. He then stopped and pushed her to the ground and kicked her in the ribs before running down Mayow Road.
The man was black, 20, 5ft 11in, of slim build, wearing a grey-and-white striped top and dark trousers.
