A CITY centre model shop has closed its doors for unknown reasons.

Warhammer, on Jewry Street, is currently shut. The shop’s lights are not on, and the door is locked.

A sign in the window says: “Closed until further notice. Sorry for the inconvenience.”

A reason for the closure is not given.

Neighbouring businesses said that they did not know about the shop's closure. However, it was open on Saturday, March 9 and Sunday, March 10 as per its usual opening hours.

A post on the shop's Facebook page says the shop will reopen on Friday, March 15

Games Workshop, Warhammer’s parent company, has been reached for comment.

Alongside model kits, Warhammer Winchester sells paints, hobby supplies and books.
