A ROMSEY firm has spoken of its pride in helping a Hampshire-based window company upgrade its systems.

Allied Office Machines, specialists in printer, scan, document management and cybersecurity technology, has been working with Window Warehouse, a window manufacturer in Portsmouth.

Romsey firm Allied Office Machines started working with Window Warehouse many years ago supplying photocopiers, but its partnership has grown and it now supplies its software solutions and cybersecurity.

When Window Warehouse's previous delivery notes scanning system was no longer supported, Allied recommended a software replacement called GlobalCapture, which creates electronic delivery notes.

Andy Bulcock, IT manager at Window Warehouse, said: “On Allied’s recommendation we have selected GlobalScan to update our delivery notes scanning process. The next stage is to automate this process even further and replicate it all electronically. The proof of delivery will be completed via the drivers’ mobiles where customers sign for the job. The confirmation will be sent automatically into the system which means the invoice can be raised even sooner.”

He is hoping this upgrade will help the company to expand and to transform digitally.

Steve Drayson, MD at Allied Office Solutions, said: “We are very happy to assist Window Warehouse in their digital transformation and provide the business technology they need to support their growing company."
