Regarding the above in last week's Hampshire Chronicle (August 31), I knew Michael Kilroy very well being in the legal profession myself. 

I always found him very helpful dealing with house transactions and coroners matters. 

I worked for Bernard Bremridge who was city coroner at the time. We often talked about the changes in the city, and growing up in the war years.
