THE flower show, at Littleton and Harestock Show on Saturday, September 2, is now open for entries.

The floral event dates back to 1921 and is the heart and soul of the attraction. Chairman Ray Broughton said: “We are keeping the increased ventilation in the marquee, and the one-way system to avoid overcrowding and to allow more space for people. This was introduced last year with considerable success.

“We have widened the choice of classes to give more choices this year for exhibits. We hope people will feel able to contribute to this popular and fun show.”

To enter fill out the online entry form at lhshow.org.uk/. Organisers are also asking for book donations for its book stall.

Books can be left in the bins provided at the two drop off points at Holly Tree Cottage, South Drive, Littleton, SO22 6PY or 6 Priors Dean Road, Harestock, SO22 6HU.
