TICKETS for a one-day agricultural and horse show event are now on sale.

The Romsey Show will be back at Broadlands in September.

The event organised by The Romsey Agricultural and Horse Show Society, celebrates country life with rural displays, equine and livestock classes, a food zone and main ring events being organised throughout the day.

The president’s ring attractions include a fast-paced horse scurry competition and the Tigers Motorcycle Display Team. Crowd favourites the heavy horse turnout and classic vehicle parade will also be returning to the ring.

Other mini shows located across the showground will be floral art, falconry, the Skills Kitchen, featuring top local chefs, and the famous Sheep Show.

New for this year, is a BMX area as well as the usual variety of trade stands, live music from the organisers of Beggars Fair, local beers, ciders and food, as well as hundreds of animals on show.

Dogs on leads are welcome with plenty of canine activities including dog agility, scurry and the family dog show, taking place in the countryside area.

Advanced tickets for the event are available to buy online at a reduced price. Super early tickets cost £17 for adults, £16 for seniors (over 65) and £11 for children (age 12-17 years). Children 11 years and under can go free with no ticket required.
