Teen cyclist suffers head injuries following collision in Chandler's Ford

A 17-year-old cyclist suffered head injuries following a collision with a car in Chandler's Ford yesterday afternoon (Tuesday, May 13).

The accident happened just after 4pm at the junction of Bournemouth Road and Chestnut Avenue and police and ambulance services attended. The teenager was taken to Southampton General Hospital for further treatment.

I am the person who was involved in this accident, i was on my way to see a friends house in Valley Park when this happened, i was taken to Southampton Hospital where i was x-rayed and have got a broken right wrist in 2 places and 7 stitches i my forehead above my left eye, as well as some cuts and graizes, i am nowback at home and slowly recovering
