A former owner of Hursley Estate has died in Monaco, aged 95.
David Wilkie Cooper inherited the estate before selling in 1982 to St Martin's Property Investments Ltd.
Mr Cooper passed away in the Mediterranean city-state on April 17, according to a notice in the Chronicle, adding "in accordance with his wishes, a formal funeral service will not be held."
The Cooper family also owned Hursley Park mansion which was requisitioned in World War Two and sold to IBM for use as its research laboratories in 1957.
