Woman found in life-threatening condition airlifted to hospital
A WOMAN found in a life-threatening condition has been airlifted to hospital.
The incident, in Turnpike Way, Hedge End, occurred at 2.12pm this afternoon.
The woman, in her 20s, was airlifted to Southampton General Hospital following a medical episode, Hampshire police have confirmed.
She currently remains in hospital.
Witnesses have told the Echo that the air ambulance landed in the nearby Turnpike Way cricket field.
Police were on the scene to assist South Central Ambulance Service.
