THE Army Training Regiment in Winchester are singing carols in Winchester city centre tonight (December 19) raising money for the Army Benevolent Fund.
There are 30 singers and a band of five from the Light Dragoons 15TP command.
These are soldiers who are nearing the end of their 14 week phase one training (basic training) and pass out on Friday (December 21).
They will be joining a number of regiments on leaving, ranging from Challenger II regiments to the Royal Engineers and the Medical Corps.
They will be at the Buttercross in Winchester High Street from 5pm to 7pm.
