THREE diamonds worth £7,000 were stolen in a raid on a Winchester home yesterday (December 13).
Thieves stole a pair of earrings and a diamond pendant necklace from the upstairs bedroom of the house in Rewlands Drive, Harestock, after breaking in through a rear ground floor window. The burglary is thought to have happened between 9am and 7pm.
PC Elaine Cawkill, of Hampshire Police, said: "We are especially interested in any unusual sightings at about 6pm Thursday, when neighbours reported a dog barking continually."
