ANIMAL rights campaigners protested outside Cadogan & James delicatessen in Winchester tonight (December 4).
Celebrity chef James Martin, and co-owner of the business, based in The Square, was hosting an evening of cookery demonstrations when members of Winchester Animal Concern showed up outside.
The group, led by campaigner Marjorie Pooley, were leafleting outside the shop in an effort to get Mr Martin to stop stocking foie gras, a pate made from goose liver but the bird has to be force fed to achieve the final result.
