FIVE people have been arrested following a drugs raid in Southampton.
A group were arrested following a swoop on a home in Gordon Avenue, Southampton, yesterday.
The pre-planned raid was part of Operation Fortress – the police's campaign to reduce the harm caused by drugs in the county.
Police say Keyvin Houga, 18, of Bailey Close, Thamesmead, London, has been charged with an allegation of possessing of a bladed article.
He is due to appear at Southampton Magistrates Court on October 18.
Natalie Snow, 32, of Commercial Road, Southampton, has been charged with allegations of two counts of theft from a shop.
She was due to appear at Southampton Magistrates Court today (September 20).
A 20-year-old man, from London, was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug.
He has been released from custody but remains under investigation.
A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply a Class A controlled drug.
He remains in custody at this time.
A 28-year-old woman, from Southampton, was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug.
She has been released with no further action to be taken against her.
