AN ALRESFORD man has been ordered to pay nearly £500 for after admitting speeding on the A31 twice, in two different cars.
Julius Philip Godwin Morgan-Giles, 22, of Colden Lane, Old Alresford, appeared at West Hampshire Magistrates' Court last month where he admitted the two charges.
Morgan-Giles was first caught doing 83mph on the 70mph A31 Alresford Road dual-carriageway in a 2008 Vauxhall on August 31 last year.
He was then caught doing 83mph again on the same stretch of road in a 2013 Audi the following day.
For each offence, magistrates fined Morgan-Giles £145, ordered him to pay £85 costs and put three penalty points on his licence.
For the incident on August 31 2017, he was also ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge.
