A LYMINGTON man has been banned from the road for an appalling piece of driving near Southampton.
Daniel Raymond Drury nearly caused an accident whilst driving on the A35 Totton bypass, a court heard.
Drury, 26, of Earley Court, was in a 58-reg Mazda on December 16 last year when he drove at excessive speed, failed to remain in lane at the Rushington roundabout, undertook a Nissan Micra, swerved to avoid a Range Rover and was close to colliding with the rear of a BMW on the Redbridge roundabout.
He pleaded guilty under the single justice procedure.
Magistrates in Aldershot disqualified him for six months, fined him £307 with a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
