WEATHER experts are warning thunderstorms could be heading to the county.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for parts of Hampshire, saying there is the potential for heavy and slow-moving thundery downpours in places.
It predicts this could happen on Friday, July 13 between 11am and 8pm.
On its website, the Met said that people could expect the likelihood of some flooding of a few homes and businesses, which could lead to some damage to buildings.
It added: "There is a good chance driving conditions will at times be affected by spray and standing water, leading to some minor journey delays.
"Some short term loss of power and other services due to lightning strikes is possible."
