HAMPSHIRE county councillor Jan Warwick is inviting residents and representatives from Compton and Shawford, Otterbourne and Hursley parish councils to join a committee monitoring activity at Otterbourne's biomass plant.
As previously reported, residents have raised concerns about regular emergency releases of steam, as well as noise levels, light pollution, and unmanned, 24-hour operation on the site.
The noise had previously been described by one resident, who asked not to be named, as " like a jet taking off at high speed".
Earlier this year Hampshire County Council granted retrospective permission to Brooke Energy's plant at Four Dells Farm, Poles Lane to continue operating, but under strict conditions
Cllr Warwick will chairing the committee.
