OVERNIGHT closures are in place on the M3 for nearly a month to allow for resurfacing work.
The M3 southbound has been closed from junction 7 at Dummer to junction 9 at Winnall overnight, between 9pm and 6am, from Tuesday for 18 nights, Monday to Friday only. It is due to finish on Thursday March 15.
A signed diversion is in place via the A33.
Further south resurfacing has been taking place this week on the M3 north and southbound carriageways between junctions 11 and 12, Compton to Chandler’s Ford.
Southbound was closed on Monday and northbound on Tuesday with traffic diverted via Otterbourne and Shawford.
In addition, lane closures will be in place on the southbound M3 between junctions 11 and 12 between 9pm and 6am, from yesterday for three nights.
