BISHOP’S Waltham Rotary Club has announced the date of the 2018 Carnival and Village Show, which will include a brand new, canine event.
On Saturday, June 9, there will be a procession down the High Street followed by celebrations at Hoe Road Rec.
This year’s theme is witches and wizards after a successful theme of Space: the Final Frontier in 2017.
As with last year there will be a photo competition, with the last day for entries being the end of May. But as well as all the normal activities, there will be a fun new dog show, with the chance to earn a rosette.
The competition will be divided into several classes: puppies, golden oldies, child handling, junior handling, prettiest bitch, handsome dog, waggiest tail, best 6 legs and the dog the judges would most like to take home.
Entry: £2 on the day from 1pm, with judging from 1.30pm.
