WINCHESTER Cathedral turned on its Christmas Tree lights last night, serenaded by the Cathedral Choristers.
The Dean of Winchester, the Very Rev Catherine ogle, led a short service blessing the lights.
It means that just about set of Christmas lights in the city centre have now been switched on.
The cathedral is seeing the massive influx of visitors to its German-style market and to the ice rink, both in the Inner Close.
