SHOPPERS who dared to visit a Winchester shopping centre this Halloween got a spooky surprise.
With pumpkin carving workshops, face painting and a trick or treat tail, staff got into the scary spirit for visitors to The Brooks Shopping Centre at the weekend.
A number of younger customers dressed up in their best Halloween outfits to take part in the activities too, and there was a chance to have photos taken with superhero Batman's iconic Batmobile car.
Members of staff from Winchester's Theatre Royal were also on hand to help.
Lisa Evans, office manager at The Brooks Shopping Centre, said: “We are delighted shoppers enjoyed the Halloween event. We saw some amazing pumpkin carving and face painting designs.”
