A MAN has denied murder after appearing in court charged with killing Winchester resident Carl Scott.
David Richard Gray, 35, of no fixed abode, was charged by Hampshire Constabulary’s Major Crime Team over the murder of 37-year-old Mr Scott, whose body was discovered by a member of the public on March 22 at a home in Birch Court, Thurmond Road.
Winchester Crown Court heard how Mr Scott died some time between February 12 and March 22.
Gray, who appeared in court wearing a black suit, refused to confirm his name, but entered a plea of not guilty.
A trial is expected to begin on December 4.
