WINCHESTER civic chiefs have taken action against a group of travellers at the city's park and ride.
Council officers obtained a court order on Tuesday and it was served yesterday at the site, off Otterbourne Road, near Compton, requiring the group to leave.
The group had been there for nearly a month.
