CIVIC chiefs are exploring further options to remove a group of travellers from a busy Hampshire car park after they ignored a notice telling them to leave.
Winchester City Council had served notice to the group, which moved into the city's South Park and Ride earlier this week, on Thursday, but the group has still not moved on.
It marks the second time a group has occupied the site, off the Hockley Link road, in just over two months.
Earlier this summer, dozens of travellers moved into the site before being forced to move on.
It is not known if it is the same group.
A spokesman for Winchester City Council said:“The council will be taking further action to remove the travellers who have remained at the Park and Ride.”
