A "DEVOTED and wonderful" woman was killed in a crash on a Hampshire road.
Gena Close, 56, was a passenger in a Mazda on the A32 Wickham Road, near Droxford, when the car collided with an Audi A4.
She was rushed to hospital following the crash, which happened just after 5pm on Wednesday, August 23, but could not be saved.
Her family paid tribute to Mrs Close, who was from Beverley Hills Park, Amesbury.
They said: "The family are devastated by the sudden and tragic loss of Gena.
"A devoted mother and wonderful sister.
"All who knew her were better for the experience.
"She will forever be in our hearts."
The driver of the Audi, a 36-year-old man from Gosport, has been arrested and released from custody, but he remains under investigation.
