POLICE are hunting a man linked to a late night assault in Southampton where the victim suffered a broken nose and a black eye.
They have released an image of a man captured on CCTV, who they are trying to identify following the assault where a 29-year-old man was assaulted.
The incident happened on Southampton High Street between Oasis Bar and For Your Eyes Only.
The man is described as white, aged in his late 20s, with fair hair and of medium build.
PC Donald Swanson from the Western Investigation Team in Southampton Central Police Station said: “We would like anyone who recognises the man in this image to contact us.“The victim suffered serious injuries to his face and required hospital treatment.
“If you recognise this man or if this is you, please call 101 and quote 44170272683.”
The incident happened on July 16 at 2.15am.
