A car boot sale in Bramdean is set to raise funds for a Winchester charity.
The annual car boot sale held at Brockwood Park will be opening its gates on August 28.
The event is masterminded by local resident Caroline Stanley who has organised and run it for more than 30 years.
All proceeds go to family support charity Home-Start Winchester, where Caroline has long been a volunteer helping young families to get back on their feet.
Caroline said: “We are praying for a dry day. We did get washed out one year which was a disaster but hopefully the weather will be kind to us this year.”
Cars, vans and trailers are charged £10 and £15 respectively and shoppers gain entry by donation and it starts at 8am.
