MOTORISTS are facing severe traffic problems as thousands of festival-goers flock to Boomtown Fair.
The event at Matterley Bowl, near Winchester, is set to attract up to 60,000 revellers and features artists including The Specials, Cypress Hill, and MIA.
Thousands of revellers are currently in Winchester, with the majority outside Winchester Train Station, where there is a shuttle service to and from the festival.
Traffic news site Romanse reports that there are delays on the A34 southbound between Three Maids Hill and the M3 due to festival traffic.

Its live map also shows traffic on the M3 northbound heading to Winchester, the A31 westbound from Alresford, and the A272 heading north west.
There is traffic being reported in Winchester itself although it is unclear if this is related to the event.
Bus company Stagecoach took to social media to report that its 85 service is being disrupted due to the volume of vehicles.
