A HAMPSHIRE business has been awarded a prestigious award from the Queen.
David Store Navigational Management Ltd in Otterbourne received the Queen's Award for Enterprise: International Trade 2017 at a presentation ceremony attended by Nigel Atkinson Esq, lord-lieutenant of Hampshire and the mayor of Winchester, Cllr David McLean.
The award has been operating since 1966 and the Queen makes the awards on the advice of the Prime Minister and advisory committee.
More than 350,000 companies apply each year for the coveted award and DSNM Ltd are one of only 176 winners.
Managing director David Store said “Being recognised by the Queen's Award is testament to what a highly motivated and dedicated team of people can achieve.
“The award has given us a real opportunity to pause and reflect on our company’s success. “ Recent years have seen exciting but busy periods of growth and the award provides us with extra motivation to continue our development to create the world’s best superyacht management service.”
