A TEENAGER from a village near Alresford admitted attacking a policeman and stealing a pedal bike
Alexander Vazie Wells Simons, 18, of The Drove, Lower Wield, pleaded guilty to taking the bike in Basingstoke on February 25.
He assaulted PC Nicholas Hillary with intent to resist arrest on July 11 in Basingstoke, magistrates in the town were told.
Simons was ordered to pay PC Hillary £75 compensation, £40 costs and undertake a community order with a rehabilitation activity requirement for up to 15 days.
