A MAN in his 60s has appeared in court accused of arson being reckless as to endangering life.
Anthony Maurice Mort, 64, was arrested at West View House hostel, Hyde Gate, Winchester, on July 10, after a fire in Room 22.
Mort, of no fixed abode, was remanded in custody and is next due to appear at Winchester Crown Court on August 9.
