Two schools have closed as residents in Hampshire have been left without water after a water main burst this morning.
Southern Water reported homes in Chandler's Ford, Otterbourne and Chilworth were affected.
John Keble CofE Primary School, in Hursley near Winchester, and Ampfield CofE Primary School near Romsey have closed today due to having no water supply.
Bottled water and tankers were brought in to help vulnerable residents who have been left without a supply.
The main, which burst in Silkstead Road, Hursley, was repaired by around 4.30pm.
The pipe affected serves 20,000 homes in Hampshire.
