MORE than 140 people enjoyed a day of activities at a school fete in Twyford.
Families gathered at Ballard Close for Twyford St Mary's Primary School's Summer Fete on Saturday.
The event raises money for the school and it is hoped it can help improve a playground.
The day had a range of activities for children and parents to get involved with, these included face-painting, a coconut shy, an assault course, a bouncy castle and a raffle.
There were also stalls and refreshments throughout the day.
Leader of the Parents Teacher Association (PTA) at the school Celine Barker said: "It was a definite success, it was a really lovely lovely atmosphere and hopefully it was a success from a fundraising point of view..
She said that it is hoped the day will have raised between £3000 and £4000.
